Perform Basic Troubleshooting of ESXi and vCenter Installations
In this first module of the course, we'll cover how to perform basic troubleshooting of ESXi and vCenter Server installations. So here we're talking specifically about installations, when you install the ESXi Hypervisor or when you install VMware vCenter. Specifically what we'll cover are the general ESXi host troubleshooting guidelines, as well as the vCenter Server troubleshooting guidelines. I'll cover what these guidelines are because you should be roughly following VMware's guidelines when it comes to troubleshooting either one of these critical VMware products. After that, we'll jump into the lab, and I'll show you how to troubleshoot common installation issues in both ESXi and vCenter. I'll show you how to monitor ESXi system health and then finally how to export diagnostic information from VMware vCenter and vSphere. We've got a lot to cover, so with that, let's get started.

Perform Basic Troubleshooting of vSphere Networking
In this module, you'll learn how to perform basic troubleshooting of ESXi and VMware vCenter. Specifically, we'll cover how to verify network configurations, how to troubleshoot common storage issues, how to troubleshoot common virtual machine issues, how to know if a virtual machine is configured with the correct network resources, how to troubleshoot virtual switches and port groups, as well as physical network adapter configuration issues. And then we'll wrap it up with how to identify and detect common Knowledge Base article solutions. So we'll jump over into the VMware vSphere Support Knowledge Base, and I'll show you how to find solutions to some of the most common vSphere problems. As you can tell by this list, we've got a lot to cover in this module, so let's get started.

Perform Basic Troubleshooting of VM Operations
Most virtual infrastructures have a lot of virtual machines. It could be tens, hundreds, or even thousands of virtual machines. So it's important to be prepared to troubleshoot virtual machine operations, and that's exactly what we're covering in this module. We'll start off by talking about virtual machine resource contention issues. We'll cover fault tolerance network latency, VMware Tools installation issues, troubleshooting virtual machine states, virtual machine constraints, identifying and troubleshooting root cause of storage issues, as well as common virtual machine boot disk errors. We've got a lot to cover, so let's get started.

Identify and Troubleshoot Basic Misconfigurations Through the GUI
In this module, you'll learn how to identify and troubleshoot basic misconfigurations in the VMware vSphere Web Client. Specifically, I'll show you how to manage the vSphere Web Client settings. I'll help you to identify incorrectly configured Web Client settings, and then I'll show you how to correct common warnings and alerts within the vSphere Web Client. So this module is all about the vSphere Web Client, how to configure it, and how to use it properly. We've got a lot to cover, so let's get started.
